Welcome to Bull City Homebrew!

Bull City Homebrew is Durham's homebrewing and wine making headquarters. We love making beer and wine. It's a passion of ours, and something we've all done for a long time. We have the latest selection of grains, hops and yeasts to meet all of your beer and wine making needs, from beginner to brewmeister. We also offer kits and equipment packages to get you brewing your favorites as quickly as possible. We always want to hear about your batches and help you make your beer and wine making as successful as possible.

What's your homebrewing experience?

Websites are not one-size-fits-all. Some people come here who have never brewed, others have made over 100 batches. We want to help show you content that's meaningful to your level of experience.

Brew Durham is back, May 4th!

It's that time of year again, and the Brew Durham Homebrew Fest is back! The event is a benefit for the Scrap Exchange, a uniquely Durham business that I connect with personally when I think back to the afternoons spent there with my kids.

Here are the details:

What: Brew Durham: A Homebrew Benefit for The Scrap Exchange
When: Saturday, May 4th. Two sessions, 1-4pm and 5-8pm.
Where: The new Scrap Exchange digs in downtown Durham next to Golden Belt @ 923 Franklin Street

2013 NO-TAX ANNOUNCEMENT

Fiscal cliff? Debt ceiling? How about "Relax, don't worry, have a homebrew?" While our elected officials continue to argue, we've got a tax plan in place at Bull City Homebrew that we think you'll like. A no tax plan!

To qualify for tax relief, just pick up one of our t-shirts at the store for $15. These shirts do more than make you look like like a rock star... whenever you wear it to the store, we'll pay your sales tax for all of 2013! That's right, when we say "No more taxes", we mean it!

2013 t-shirts come in two styles; "Bull City Skull" and "Revoultion is Brewing". Each shirt is available in small through 3XL. If you plan on spending some money on homebrew supplies in 2013, this shirt could easily pay for itself and much more.

Go ahead and put away those complicated tax tables, this is a loophole that doesn't take an accountant to figure out. Pick up a shirt, pay no sales tax at the store in 2013. Next thing you know you'll be brewing beer in the Cayman Islands.

Gift certificates are available

Come in and pick up a gift certificate, or give us a call at 919-682-0300 and we'll mail it to you. They are available in any dollar amount you'd like. Take the guesswork out of gift giving... a gift certificate lets them get exactly what they want.
